Break free

Hi guys,

Those following my instagram and twitter will know that I've just ended my exams. I really cannot describe how bad the mugging phase was. Can you imagine like I started mugging 1 month before my exam starts? It's so hardcore that I can't even think that I did those muggings. I don't even do that during poly? Feel so good right now!

I'm gonna be doing or accomplishing a lot of things before I start another mugging phase in October. Hahaha. During the phase, I met a group of elderly at mac and felt so bad about it. You know I've been there for like 2 weeks and I see them like quite often?

The night when I saw them while studying with babe, they were talking to us. One of the Ahma says she's already like 80 years old and the other ahma is her daughter. Like I can't even believe the mother looks so much healthier than the daughter. The daughter looks so sick, she seems to be suffering from some diabetes kind of illness because of the condition shown on the legs. But she told us that she's having anaemia. Which causes constant headache for her? While the daughter went into mac to grab some water, the Ahma was telling us that the daughter is useless and is here to torture her(as she did something bad to her in the previous life) like 讨债. She states that the daughter demand her to buy her lunch from coffeeshop daily, if she don't the daughter will scream at her. Which is quite bad? I mean the woes of a mother.

But then they took cab back to AMK (where they live) with the son. She say that the son had to work to support the both of them. I don't think they are rich? But why linger around until you have no last train then you decide to go off? I mean isn't taking public transport much cheaper than a midnight cab fare? It got me and babe curious for a moment. Like what kind of house that they live in and such. Quite 心酸 for the Ahma. I mean like ya I geddit that a mother's job never really ends, not even until your son or daughter gets married, but until you're dead. But at least normally moms will get the luxury of 想清福(?) and just chasing around playing with their grandchildren, but she still gotta take care of her daughter when she's already 80 years old? Sigh. I hope all is well for that family. Babe will pray for them and I hope god has got greater plans and keep a look out for them.

Oh well, alright sad stories aside. I'm glad that now that I'm done with my exams I have like a series of activities lined up all the way till June. Haha! Cannot believe it right? Today (I mean sunday) is the free-est after my exam. On friday right after exam, I went all the way to Raffles place to meet dear for lunch. It's really great to always have lunch with her and do some catch-up since she's always not free! I have never thought of my life without her before. Don't you ever leave my life, I will go haywire! Thanksy for all the lunch meets and telling me that Clarlynn says I will be a good boyfriend if I'm a guy! Yes! If I'm a guy, your boyboy cannot even stand place in your heart! LOL. Love you!

Went over to Bedok to look for Ahma Eng and my 2 cutesy, because it's Tongtong's 1st birthday that day! She's looking all gorgeous that day! 

Totally in love with the biggest photo! She's like a supermodel posing for some photoshoot?! LOL. Love it that she's very clingy that day too! Then Tengteng got jealous and keep asking me to carry him! Hahaha. It's damn funny. I was taking photo of Tongtong and Tengteng said Gorgor also want to take photo. Everything also want to snatch with meimei one this gorgor. Haha!

Though I was super tired that day, they filled my day with bright stars. How to be tired when I have them around? Hahaha!

Saturday morning I had tuition and so glad to hear news about tutee's chinese got great improvement, but needs to buck up on his english! Oh dear. I hope he will get better and better. CBTL with Jem and Jiahe, finally not there for studying and felt so relieve. Can't help but laugh at Jem's gan jiong mode about studying. Haha. All the best! Then I had Xmen with Brightonites during the night to end off a good day. Please please watch Xmen if you haven't! It's really damn good I swear! I've been telling everyone who talked to me since I've watched. Hahaha.

Alright. I'm gonna sleep now! Meeting Gdine and Weihao tmr for some garden brunch dining! Can't wait for all the very feeling shot that Gdine is talking about! LOL. See ya all soon! (I hope)

Hello everyone!

It's been a real busy this weeks because work and school's load is killing. So great that it just collapse big time. Feels so out of breath lately. Luckily there's still some other activities that's going on that make life less boring. Whoop whoop!

So from this weeks of missing, some days have been quite fulfilling. Because there's actually good things happened that substantially covers up the bad! I'm so glad for people that made this happen.

Valtentine's day celebration with lots of people and it's really great that it's such a special day for @tinyfairyz too! So mad happy for her when LY appeared at her party! Because this silly girl cried over the fact that he's not going for her party plus keep whining even when she prepared herself for it. Then I cannot only say, "Army people all wanna celebrate V'day also one, they will come out one! Hahaha!" I know this post came late, but still... Thank you for the invitation! I really enjoyed myself and great fun!

Last Saturday I went for my first Essential Writing class with @jiahechew and it's really helping. My lecturer is so kind that he prepared slides for our reference while the other classes don't have it. (At least I know 3 lecturers don't do it. Hahaha, wtf!) So, after my first lecture ends for this course I have a thesis essay that's due 6 days after. SMDJ?! I just think UNI-SIM's system is really hardcore training for procrastinators leh. Hahaha! Did I not mention about having e-quiz that ends before I even start lectures? LOL. I just feel so wtf la. So thanks uh! But I still procrastinate gao gao! Had my fav. prata at Al-Azhar before we head home. Went to bed without doing any assignments and watch show till late! I'm just qiang like that!

Sunday was spent at Total Defence exhibition for the whole day. Mad crazily bored that I did my quiz but not assignments. LOL. Procrastination level: Elaine. Couldn't score well despite doing it for like the whole of the day. Damn angry! Hahaha. But nonetheless, work with them makes a difference!

Then boring work for the rest of the week that's a mad rush. Cannot maintain one. Always leaving office late and stuff. Due to few things that's juggling on hand. However, Wednesday is a good day though I totally do not have enough amount of sleep. The bad choice of wanting and procrastinating on Tuesday night leh. Then having to wake up super early in the morning just for a whole day trail but at the end of the day it's really worth it! This school that we got in contact of was from a previous full day trail that we ran too. Their feedback was so bad that we sound like some garbage vendor! Then there's this threaten from them that it will be brought up to upper levels about this. So everyone's been living in fear about this trail. Such high and many requirements from this trail and everyone's not able to let loose. However, things turned better after the most complainy teacher that commented the MOST for last year's trail assured me about this time was SO MUCH BETTER than last year's one! I was so relieve! Omg. Many many thanks for those people who rendered their help when I needed. Especially when it's a full day trail. So glad that I'm able to find enough people to fulfill the requirement! God's been good to me! Thank you!

Weariness don't just end after the trail, because despite the less than 3 hours of sleep that previous night. I had to fight it and my procrastination monsters to complete my thesis essays by hook or by crook. Because I've never used the turnitup thing that checks for plagiarism, then I heard that it's so different from np's method of checking. So, bleah bleah bleah. I did my thesis all the way till 4 and I decided I'm floating in my room, I shall sleep. Haha. Adding to that, I have to wake up early for work. I thought I would look like some zombie at exhibition, but I look perfectly find! LOL. The wonders of coffee. I do realise I depend on coffee a lot lately and I don't know if it's good or bad. But definitely not a good one when it doesn't have effect on me anymore. Hahaha. Finally the sense of accomplishment after submitting my essay and felt so good that I can have my 12 hours of sleep!

Then school for the week and weekend work at museum. Yesterday, attended Kelly's 22nd birthday party at Hotel Michael. Thanks for the invitation and Happy birthday in advance! Hope you like the presents we got! Some photos spamming with @tinyfairyz before we started the crazy drinking session that's even before cake cutting. Got so siao not? First time attending a not so tame birthday party whereby drinking session comes before cake-cutting. LOL. I think mine was the most tame one! Hehehehe. Jiejie even text me to ask me not to get TOO drunk. Hah!

Cope from @tinyfairyz ig. Hahaha. Love this girl loads! Jiayou for your group assignments and may you meet more great people that doesn't make you rage so much! Hahaha.

Nice bunch of people to end my tired day. Thank you for all the fun! Though I had to mad rush my assignments right now, it's all worth it!

Fun-filled and different CNY

Hello!!!!!

So how's CNY for everyone? It's quite sad that we're only left with 5 days officially. So let's enjoy and continue to gamble for the remaining 5 days! (Hopefully more angbaos will come in! $.$ Hahahaha!)

CNY eve was really great with the annual gathering and reunion with my Eng family with the addition of my baby cousin Tongtong! Though her tantrum is really sucky she will grow up to be a da jie da and I swear this will happen. LOL. Soooooo, the usual steamboat affair yearly that goes on at Ahma's house. Managed to buy Yusheng and FRESH salmon sashimi from Fassler with Boss and Ben! (I cannot stop OMG-ing at Ben's voice because whenever he speaks I think of Wei Qian! LOL. Wtf no joke!)

And before that was a mini farewell for Vallu in the office. Eating pizzas and kfc as usual! Also a mini farewell for me! CHEAPSKATE! I march then leave leh! SMDJ?! Cut cost also don't like that right?

I look quite meh in the group photo but okay this is my whole office team without Boss in it. Hahaha. Then one with the nicest and most encouraging yet wise man I've ever met. Cannot believe his temper and patient when he's a retired Colonel from the Air force too! Thank you for all the encouragement from time to time when I joined this company a year ago. Appreciate much! We shall meet up with the team soon! All the best! 

CNY Day 1 woke up late and thankful for not being disturbed by LD like I usually encountered. Due to Mama Eng working till 6 in the evening, Papa Eng decided that he take car then we shall go chill somewhere in Jurong West while waiting. Then he took the longest route possible from Woodlands to JW. LOL. We even went to kopitiam to eat prata and drink coffee! Gdine I swear the coffeeshop near your house got super nice prata! Hahahaha. Oh yes something interesting that Papa Eng pointed out was...

This! I didn't know there's this and this piece of big land was the initial NTU. *woof blown away* Hahaha! So I was super lucky to avoid LD as Ahma Eng decided to hire LD since I wasn't there yet. Hehehe. So #ootd this year was so different with Brother Eng. I decided to Polaroid style!

Then the Brother decided to have a competition with me about comparing the likes our photo got. All because of my steamboat photo that's about the same as his but mine shot up to like 40 plus likes and he got so jealous! *I'm afraid of him stabbing me like the brothers who got too over with flappy bird* Haha! So we kept comparing and finally he lost again! LOL. I love the collar bones of mine in the photo! *shy*

Then was going to squeeze with the crowd at #hongbaoriver2014. Brother Eng suggested this! Nothing fancy about other than buying the cheap corona there. The rest of the food too crowded and we can't even be bothered with trying.

Ended the day with Papa Eng and Brother Eng watching From Vegas to Macau. I swear it's a good movie though the ending was a little abrupt. Chow Yun Fatt for the win! Having the charisma the sei even when acting in comedy! Dai gor jiu shi dai gor! LOL.

CNY Day 2 went over to Dayi house with the Brother in the afternoon. Pastamania for brunch before heading there. We went to Giant to grab some stuff for their steamboat at night and yusheng at Elias Mall. Played mj for awhile and won 10 bucks! First winnings in 2014. Hahahaha! Then headed over to one of the laoyi house for buffet dinner, it's meh. Don't know what kind of buffet is that and cost about 1k. Then went for virgin KTV session with the Eng family!

Papa Eng was trying to Huat uh! LOL. The good 3 hours of singing and drinking! Though I really hate drinking tiger. That day was the day that I drank the most tiger in my entire 21 years of life! LOL. Papa Eng was saying "I also never teach my kids to drink, both so can drink one even better than me. Brother Eng "Last time always go drink with Encik mah, they train one!" Me giving speechless face. Hehehehe. Then he saying wanna drink cordon bleu with us next time! SMDJ?! My Papa wanna test my drinking skills! 

CNY Day 3 went visiting at Tweeny's place and some gambling with her ganma and future sis-in-law. I swear I never wanted to play because I don't like to play with strangers. Thank god for JianHowe! The best bud in crime! LOL. Thanks for hosting Tweeny! 

CNY Day 4 went to visit Ahma Tay at the temple before heading over to Gardens by the Bay! Was pretty shocked by my photos! Due to the fact that my camera lens decides to sucide, I can only take using my phone. But I swear the photo looks like from DSLR minimum. Hahaha! 

有没有？！ I never lie to you all one! I showed my girls and all say look like I kop from google one! LOL. So dear asked me to copyright all the photos taken before I post it! Painstakingly edited, but I haven't post it on facebook because I forgot which one been edited which one haven't! LOL. 

Rest of the days were back to boring work. It's quite meh. I've got the holiday mood and especially after such long rest. Hahaha. Then I had this super bad feeling of meeting LD head-on on the first day back to work. So when we went for lunch I asked Eugene, for the past years any of the company around us or we will hire LD? He said no then I felt relieved. But then we got nothing to eat we had to go all the way to market. Here comes the drum sound! FML. SMDJ?! Ended up my face turned so white that they decided to move away. LOL. My curse during CNY. Papa Eng will always say 吃到这么大了还怕，里面都是人来的吗 Hahaha! I'm a cat la! 

Classes resumed and am so glad that I found friends in first Stats class! Understanding stats class even when I didn't read up before class and knowing it's a non exam course. CNY ji happy you mei you? Hahaha! 

Saturday project meeting and visiting at Jiahe's place. So glad to see everyone again even after me going SIM for a 1.5 hrs just to discuss what question to do for our GBA with the team. Felt so meh on the way back but Brother Eng helped lighten my mood abit! Hahaha. Met with Alicia who's currently on plane back to Melb and the rest of the woodlanders for supper after the gambling session. 

Kop-ed this from Alicia's fb! Am glad that you're still so chirpy (though we know the main reason is not the 甜糕 from your granny, hahaha!) Take care and I will see you back in this little land in June! 

After that I joined the rest at Tweeny's house for steamboat and some small gambling session! Walked home and my friends just think that I will get kidnapped! LOL. 

Sunday is catch up with show and doing of my acc quiz! Ending tmr and I haven't scored 100! I shall try in office tmr! Okay la. Tmr got work! See ya all! Till then!

Hello guys!

I'm back to share some little stories I encounter on the net. So how many of us actually appreciate the things that you have and not take it for granted? Stories on the net for take away is far more than what we could think of. (I have no idea why I'm talking about take away every single day now, part of growing up? Perhaps) The video below created by Natalie who lost her baby girl when she's still in her. You can see how much she fought to make that smile possible in the video when all she wanted was to tear for losing her precious girl. She wanted so much to tell her baby girl that she appreciates her presence in her life even when she's not around anymore and how much changes she made to her life. How many of us did appreciate the things or the people around us? If not, what are waiting for then? (Guilty as charged) So I'm currently trying hard to be more appreciative for people around me and having them in my life, you see. Hahaha.



The most wonderful gift from god. I cannot fully understand that right now, but I feel the sorrow they had to bear when the gift was taken away. Nonetheless, glad to hear that Natalie (The Nat Factor) fought through all this and am blessed with a great gift now. Praying hard for you and your fam to be healthy! And to every parents in remembrance of your angel babies, may all be good!

Hello!

So yes, I had my first lesson like few days back. Am already feeling the stress already. No joke! I was expecting my class to be like filled with Aunty and Uncle but surprisingly, mostly my age. Though I have one Aunty in my group. Zzz. It's because I've got this GBA in to complete like 2 weeks after CNY. We were given like questions to discuss and discuss what we are suppose to write and all. Both my group member got like Accounting background except me! Then I was late by like half an hour for my second lesson. Felt so lost when I was in the class for the later half an hour before getting a bit of it. Meh.

Other than that I just hope GBA will be good and I can really understand what I'm doing once I have the time to read up. E-quiz that ended like yesterday was disaster though. I only managed to hit a 70 instead of 100. Depressing. This sucks.

Alright. School's out for a week! So I've been trying to bake all the last minute orders. And I can proudly say I'm done with all the baking! Haven't got time to pass to Gdine her honey cornflakes though! I shall contact her soon to see when I can meet her. Don't upset liao okay! Oh yes. CNY is just round the corner. I haven't really think of what to wear for CNY day 1! 2 places of visiting and ya man. I just suck at thinking of what to wear this year. Last year was so much easier. I think it's the shoe! *Strongly believes and blames on shoe* LOL. Don't bite me this CNY please! Am very egg-cited and looking forward to the reunion dinner and movie with the fam this CNY eve! Though we haven't decided on what to watch AS OF NOW is still Lion Men. *see my sian face* Hahaha.

So yesterday I got nothing much at work to do, I decided to scroll back all the way to where this first blogpost is. I realise there's so much take away every single day, every single month, every single year. In fact the people I've met ever since, I've learnt so so much from them. Hahaha. Really can't be anymore thankful for people whom I've met. Whether we're still in contact or what, I still love you all y'know right? ^^ Hehehe. Okay la. Happy CNY in advance! *just in case I have no time to blog!* Till then!
