안녕하세요!
저는 Elaine에요. 오렌만이에요! 잘 진했어요?
Hahaha! As you can see I'm trying hard to learn 한국어. I don't want to depend on google translation anymore, because most of the time it's a bit of in chaos. LOL. It's been a month since I last updated this tiny space that I wonder if there's anyone who's still reading this page. Hahaha.
I've been busy trying to catch up with all my drama shows, variety shows before I start to work again. Yes, if you haven't already know, I've gotten myself a full-time job yet again. I know after my previous full-time work I've been saying that I do not want to have a full time anymore while studying, but I realise that it's really a bit of hard. Because during this 4 months of not working life, I feel like I'm a parasite. LOL. Excluding the 2 months that I'm basically mugging hard for my exams. I've cleared like A LOT of shows during the 2 months of break I'm having. I find that my life is so mundane. Like my friends are all working or studying, but I'm the only one who's playing. Hahaha. FML. I guess this is the down side and having to be able to support myself previously and now I'm getting allowance from Papa Eng again. (Although he's always so supportive of me not getting work and be more focus on my studies, I feel weird myself) "Is this a whole new level of maturity?" Hahahaha!
Ever since my exams, I've really been playing hard. Let's see.
-Malacca trip with Mama Eng and Brother Eng
-Watch dramas
-Read books
-Working part-time
-Teaching tuition
-Getting my results back
-Durian day-trip to Malaysia
-Meet up with Gdine and Weihao
-Meet up with JY
-Meet up with Buddy
-Farewell party with intern colleagues
-Treetop walk and Sentosa with LDR colleagues
-Dinner with intern colleague
-Dinner with my 好朋友s
-Paintwork in the house
-Dental
-Celebration with the family (Brother Eng's bday)
The different events I had since school's and work's out! Then I'm getting a lil bit of tired, and so I got myself a job. LOL. They pay well too, so why not?
Okay I have nothing much to say anymore. I will update more about my work if there's anything worth blogging. Heee.

Meh life is meh
Hi people!
I've been having mundane life. Really mundane. Trying very hard to catch up with all the dramas that I didn't had time to watch because maybe soon I do not have the time anymore! I have to start sleeping early too. Those rashes that only comes to me when I'm stress or sleeping late is back to attack. Because I haven't been very good to my body recently.
Currently watching Moon embraces the Sun, the first episode was really gross! Those punishment in the olden days jinja jinja gross. I can't even imagine someone who could think of all this punishment. Really. Now I know why there's such 成语 like 五马分尸. So ewwwww that I closed my eyes and nearly stopped watching the show! After episode 2 I feel the need to continue watching, but it's quite confusing between the characters. LOL. Another recommended drama from @gdinez.
Had this recce today for a trail that's running for every Thursday in June. I really hate to say but I find a bit retarded to ask everyone to be there for the recce when the meaning of recce totally means you have to be familiar with the routes. They claim to be a briefing, but the briefing could be easily done on Thursday itself. Really. I've been walking Southern Ridges for god knows how many times. Ewwwww. But since I'm free I attended and got myself nothing new but mozzie bites! The mozzie there is so sucky one! 教我我都不一定会。I got myself mozzie patch before going and I still get bitten. Wtf. They like 刀枪不入(?).
Before recce I had tuition and I must really say, 现在的小孩子很难做。I really mean it. Look at this.
My tutee got a 70 for English and guess what? That's the 30th placing in class and there's only 31 kids in that class. Their mean mark in the class was 79. What is this? His mum got me to tutor him because they were having concern about him being the last in class at the end of Term 1. I thought his result was really bad. BUT look at this! I really feel sorry for him that I kept telling he did absolutely good in this. Where is all the carefree life as a kid? Where did all the childhood fun gone to? What kind of competition are they facing? Absolute zero answer. Sigh.
Oh yes, sad stories aside. Anyway it's been so long since I last keep myself updated with @gdinez. Because she's been posting so much on her Dayre rather than blog. There's one more favourite web to list down. Haha. Since I haven't been reading her Dayre since she created, I just finish reading every post. Haha. A break from drama. Tomorrow shall be a stay home day to watch drama since Mama Eng is home. Yay!
Till then.

Song Share: Touch Love
In love with this song because of Master's Sun! I swear it's really a good drama. The second Korean drama that I will watch after Love Rain. Really super touching that I cried for almost all the 17 episodes! Daebak! Good receommendation from Gdine! Kamsahamnida!
Been at home for the past few days just to catch up with my books and dramas. I still have lots of dramas to watch though! Hahaha. I have nothing much to update either. So off to drama! Enjoy the song!

Chewytomatoes' Travelogue: Malacca
Hey guys!
Address: No. 268 Jalan Melaka Raya 3, Taman Melaka Raya, 75000 Melaka
Then till we walked back to Jonker Walk and realise this dinner was a wrong choice. LOL. So damn disappointed when we reached there and saw so many nice street food. Damn! Went back to hotel and rest for the next day's travel back to Singapore!
Some of you might know, some might not. I just got back from Malacca. It's been an enjoyable trip other than getting a complimentary blister from all the walking and I believe I got tanner. Haha! For those who intend to go for a short trip, I think Malacca would be good. (Idk why I like Malacca so much that when I'm back I kept recommending to everyone who talked to me! Hah!)
So on Friday, we had to wake up super early to get to Golden Mile Tower to catch our cheap bus. (It's only like 25SGD per person for a trip to Malacca) If you are interested in getting cheap tickets, explore the links I've attached below!
Book your tickets here!
The bus ride is only about 3.5 hrs or so? Pretty fast and it's a non-stop driving. Damn love, plus the coach that I took has good in-built massaging effect one. Though it's quite a lousy massaging and we only found out at the last 0.5 hours of our ride. LOL. Damn.
So upon reaching Malacca Central (that's their bus terminal), we had to book our Sunday tickets to come back to Singapore. Damn! All the tickets back to SIngapore full! ***Advice to all who wants to travel there during weekends, please do not be smart to travel back on Sunday, unless you booked round-trip for your coach*** We were damn lost when we got there to hear such news, because Mama's friend told us that we could easily get tickets back cheap from there. Don't say cheap, we can't even find a ticket for afternoon's coach.
But thank god for this very good uncle from 707 coach service, he thought us to book coach tickets from KKKL service (Counter 4) to JB Larkin Terminal. Then from Larkin we will be able to take SBS 170 back to Singapore. Smart move! Thanks~
Fun time right now! We took a taxi from that place to our hotel (MidCity Hotel). Booked it through Expedia and was quite disappointed with the way the hotel and Expedia handled it. This is my first time booking through Expedia and don't know how well they handle things, plus I'm not sure who's fault it is this time round. Anyway, our cab fare is a standard 20RM and we paid 25RM for that the cab driver was so good, he deserves the best cabby award I must say. Because our hotel is a new hotel, opened recently on the 8th April this year and he couldn't locate the place. He called up our hotel and checked with them the exact location and all. He even introduced a place great for seafood dinner.
So, upon checking in, we had problems with it. The hotel people couldn't locate our information because they claimed that Expedia didn't send them an email to confirm about it. So the receptionist got like a hard time to locate a room for us especially when our room was a Junior Suite. Wasted like a half an hour waiting over at the lobby and thank god for free wireless, if not I would have thrown tantrum there at the staff. Badass. Lol. Oh yes! If you guys are going to book this hotel, please let your taxi drivers who don't know how to go that it's just right behind Yong Peng yong tau foo stall.
So we manage to wash up a little and went for late lunch near our hotel, because we got the nice cabby uncle to bring us for dinner at 6 plus. The food wasn't worth recommending. We got one of their soup because of the pork rib, but the pork rib was cold! Simisai! Really 教我还不一定会。 Seriously! I bet they only pour the hot soup onto those ingredient and expect it to be hot too. Geesh.
After the lunch, we decided to explore a bit because we're super near to Hatten Square. There's something that's super cool about the places! Some of the shopping malls there are all linked up! Till today I still am not sure which are the malls that's linked up! LOL. Fail. I only know from Hatten Hotel the place connecting Hatten Square is not open yet but the levels above are opened. We had to walk across to Dataran Pahlawan Melaka Megamall and then somehow we walked and got to the upper levels of Hatten Square, not much of stuffs though. Learnt from one of the shop staff that there's promotion going on at Starbucks and it's last day! So, why not! Queued for their Starbucks while waiting for cabby uncle to pick us up for our dinner!
Tadah! Dinner at Portugese Settlement!
Seafood dinner by the seaside! I swear it's damn good and fresh for the price we pay. (I think it's the price in Singapore that makes us feel that other countries' things are always so much cheaper!) But there's a price to pay for coming here for dinner I swear! The price is SHOCK! Upon arrival, when you have yet to step out of the cab. Brace yourself before getting out. I swear you will feel like the people charging to your cab is like reporters gonna chiong for some scandal reports. But they are only asking you guys to choose a stall to dine in. LOL. My first thought was that they were asking for the carpark fee, because there's this Aunty that keeps pointing 1 to me! LOL. The people can go as far as belittling other stalls right in front of the staffs. However, we chose No. 1 as that's what our cabby uncle recommended.
The photos are of low quality because I do not have a camera now with me. I'm aiming to get one this year though. Living without one when I travel is so meh. LOL. But trust me all the food is damn nice! Everything is so nice and fresh, I cannot stop thinking about all the food man! Oh yes, there's one more otah that we ordered, specially recommended by our cabby uncle. I didn't manage to take photo of it because I was already eating crab! Their otah is so special, it's so different from the ones that I ate before. It's like a big chunk of fish that's filled with chilli paste, but the chilli paste is so otah style and not those usual BBQ sambal stingray that we eat in Singapore. Super melty taste! (Y) The lala is not those usual ones that is fry with chilli too. It's really fresh BBQ style. When you eat it, it's so sweet and really fresh with no sand at all. OMG! And look at the ambience! Just plain awesome!
What's better is the added service from the staff. They helped us to look for people to drive us back to our hotel. The guy who drove us back was a fisherman and he does ferrying service only at night for some extra allowance. While we're on the way back, we saw a small night market near our hotel and decided to go over there for a short walk. The things are pretty much pasar malam style, with taiwan food and bangkok handcraft things. LOL.
Day 2~
Woke up early for hotel's buffet breakfast and it's meh! If I can I won't even be bothered to have the food. Went back to the room to rest awhile before heading out. Had lunch at this Nonya restaurant called Makko restaurant.
It's near our hotel and we only got to know that it's one of famous Nonya restaurant around there. The other one was Ole Sayang, didn't manage to try it though.
The Nonya kuehs is about RM10.90 but there's more kueh that is not in the picture. I would recommend their Nonya dumpling! It's damn nice, but I still like Ahma Eng's one because it's more peppery! LOL.
The Cincalok Omelette is very special and sweet. Something out of the norm that we eat in Singapore.
Ayam Buah Keluak is a bit like assam chicken to me. There's a black nut that's cooked with the chicken. The black nut is Keluak that oozes a piquant liquid inside and got a hard shell on the exterior. Normally people will eat it with Cincalok Omelette and white rice!
Ikan Goreng Chilli is very different from BBQ Sambal stingray, though it looks like it. I like their homemade chilli so much. Brother and Mama Eng says it's too spicy, but I feel it's not. The fish is super fresh too and the meat is still juicy. I would say the chef did the frying well, not overcooked that cause the fish to be dry.
Udang Masak Lemak Nenas is prawn with pineapple curry. I would say it's quite normal and there's too much coconut milk. The first mouth that you taste was coconut milk. Overall I would say it's really cool dining in to experience authentic Peranakan food, but it will taste normal to you if you don't really know about Peranakan food.
The bus ride is only about 3.5 hrs or so? Pretty fast and it's a non-stop driving. Damn love, plus the coach that I took has good in-built massaging effect one. Though it's quite a lousy massaging and we only found out at the last 0.5 hours of our ride. LOL. Damn.

After meal, we went over to Mahkota Parade Mall for a bit of shopping, but there's nothing much either. Explored some of the interesting shops and I realise how interesting their shopping mall can be. There's like laser tag, archery place and etc. So cool right? How to find in Singapore! They don't even have such a space for people to rest.
Then decided to walk over to Jonker since a lady from the night market told us the direction. Walked pass a Melaka Architecture Museum that looks like the famous Christ Church Melaka.
I like the color because it's red! Didn't manage to go in because it will be a long walk up there. So decided to just carry on and walking. Pass this place that look so much like Fort Canning's Archaeological dig and took interest in it. Hahaha! 职业病!
And there's this Melaka fort! Looks like our 9-pound canon! LOL.
We saw this cute looking 三轮车 while walking towards Jonker Walk. So cute one. But then it's full of Hello Kitty ones. So ewwwww. Finally found this Smurf one! The uncle so cute one, allow me to take photo when I didn't even ride his bicycle. I don't even bother taking a ride from anyone. But they are like the mobile club I swear! Blasting sound all over the place. So dum tzi dum tzi. Their songs are all so antique though, the newest one I heard was Gentleman from PSY. Haha!
Saw this dragonboat competition going on. Quite cool and it makes me think of Singapore River! LOL.
Oh yes! They have this cool looking train that sells souvenir or something. I think. Plus they have this tower that overlooks the whole Melaka (y'know the Namsan tower? Ya!). So cool right? Didn't go for that though. Hahaha.
Tadah Jonker walk! Kinda stupid that we missed the famous Chicken rice ball right at the entrance! We walked all the way in because at the 三叔公 we only see 何记 and just continue shopping. Until some point we realise that it doesn't fit the idea of what the lady at the night market told us about Jonker. Ended up we got to know from one of the shop owner that the rice ball we're looking for is right at the entrance. Meh.
We're so amazed by the Harley Davidson that we missed out the famous rice ball! It's just right beside the Hard Rock Cafe. Please take note of this if you're going! This is also the big ship that people normally talk about when you ask for the route to Jonker Walk! Behind this is 三叔公. After that we realise the usual market at Jonker haven't start so we went back to Pahlawan's Black Canyon for a drink. Yes, Black Canyon that you usually find at BKK, they have it! Hahaha. Before heading back to the hotel.
Dinner was at some BKT stall near our hotel. Not that it's very nice and I regretted having dinner there. Because there's so much more delicacy in Jonker Walk at night! Damn!

The hotel was spacious enough to me. But the aircon is rather warm. I don't know if it's every room, because only the lobby is like cooling to me. Even the lift lobby at my level is warm. Omg. Other than that I feel it's clean and location wise is good.
The view from my hotel room and the toilet! So other than the aircon I have no complain about it. It's rather a good hotel considering the fact that we paid 180SGD 2 nights for Junior Suite.
I hope this helps those who wanted a trip to Malacca. Another 2 hotel that's more high-class and nearer to Jonker will be Equitorial and Hatten. Do check out!

Break free
Hi guys,
Those following my instagram and twitter will know that I've just ended my exams. I really cannot describe how bad the mugging phase was. Can you imagine like I started mugging 1 month before my exam starts? It's so hardcore that I can't even think that I did those muggings. I don't even do that during poly? Feel so good right now!
I'm gonna be doing or accomplishing a lot of things before I start another mugging phase in October. Hahaha. During the phase, I met a group of elderly at mac and felt so bad about it. You know I've been there for like 2 weeks and I see them like quite often?
The night when I saw them while studying with babe, they were talking to us. One of the Ahma says she's already like 80 years old and the other ahma is her daughter. Like I can't even believe the mother looks so much healthier than the daughter. The daughter looks so sick, she seems to be suffering from some diabetes kind of illness because of the condition shown on the legs. But she told us that she's having anaemia. Which causes constant headache for her? While the daughter went into mac to grab some water, the Ahma was telling us that the daughter is useless and is here to torture her(as she did something bad to her in the previous life) like 讨债. She states that the daughter demand her to buy her lunch from coffeeshop daily, if she don't the daughter will scream at her. Which is quite bad? I mean the woes of a mother.
But then they took cab back to AMK (where they live) with the son. She say that the son had to work to support the both of them. I don't think they are rich? But why linger around until you have no last train then you decide to go off? I mean isn't taking public transport much cheaper than a midnight cab fare? It got me and babe curious for a moment. Like what kind of house that they live in and such. Quite 心酸 for the Ahma. I mean like ya I geddit that a mother's job never really ends, not even until your son or daughter gets married, but until you're dead. But at least normally moms will get the luxury of 想清福(?) and just chasing around playing with their grandchildren, but she still gotta take care of her daughter when she's already 80 years old? Sigh. I hope all is well for that family. Babe will pray for them and I hope god has got greater plans and keep a look out for them.
Oh well, alright sad stories aside. I'm glad that now that I'm done with my exams I have like a series of activities lined up all the way till June. Haha! Cannot believe it right? Today (I mean sunday) is the free-est after my exam. On friday right after exam, I went all the way to Raffles place to meet dear for lunch. It's really great to always have lunch with her and do some catch-up since she's always not free! I have never thought of my life without her before. Don't you ever leave my life, I will go haywire! Thanksy for all the lunch meets and telling me that Clarlynn says I will be a good boyfriend if I'm a guy! Yes! If I'm a guy, your boyboy cannot even stand place in your heart! LOL. Love you!
Though I was super tired that day, they filled my day with bright stars. How to be tired when I have them around? Hahaha!
Saturday morning I had tuition and so glad to hear news about tutee's chinese got great improvement, but needs to buck up on his english! Oh dear. I hope he will get better and better. CBTL with Jem and Jiahe, finally not there for studying and felt so relieve. Can't help but laugh at Jem's gan jiong mode about studying. Haha. All the best! Then I had Xmen with Brightonites during the night to end off a good day. Please please watch Xmen if you haven't! It's really damn good I swear! I've been telling everyone who talked to me since I've watched. Hahaha.
Alright. I'm gonna sleep now! Meeting Gdine and Weihao tmr for some garden brunch dining! Can't wait for all the very feeling shot that Gdine is talking about! LOL. See ya all soon! (I hope)
Byez~

LOL. Love you!

Then Tengteng got jealous and keep asking me to carry him! Hahaha. It's damn funny. I was taking photo of Tongtong and Tengteng said Gorgor also want to take photo. Everything also want to snatch with meimei one this gorgor. Haha!Though I was super tired that day, they filled my day with bright stars. How to be tired when I have them around? Hahaha!

Song share: 我没资格
I did not just draft you out for my criteria. You just fit the bill so much that it seems so. Prolly the reason for the 3 years.
对待他人我没资格,只能说声对不起。虽然不是每一句对不起都能换来一个没关系,我还是要说。我没资格让你为我心疼,因为把你留在我身边却无法给你快乐。
